I just imported a receiver file. When it imported it gave me a list of receivers and next to each on it said, 'Not Inserted'. Why weren't receivers inserted into my inventory?

If a receiver is already in inventory or attached to a customer in DishStar, it will not insert because it is already in the database. To find the receiver go to the Inventory > Lookup page to find where the receiver is currently assigned in the database.

I am getting ready to add a new equipment into my database, but when I went to Inventory > Add Equipment, I don't see the equipment that I need in the equipment dropdown. Why is that?

You probably haven't added the equipment yet (through the Inventory > Equipment Types link). This screen also determines what you can add to an invoice. New type of equipment must be added here once before you can work with that type of equipment elsewhere in DishStar.

How do I use my scanner with Agemni?

If you are using a simple, hand held scanner that can plug into a computer via a USB port, etc. it should be pretty easy. Simply plug your scanner into the computer, then put the cursor into a field in Agemni which you want to scan the number. Then scan the bar code. There are scanners that have preferences to either tab or "return" automatically after scanning, which makes the process pretty quick.
